Organization of internships for Finnish students in St. Petersburg hotels
On April 25, 2019, the annual friendly meeting of teachers and students of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg and the Professional College SAMIedu from the city of Savonlinna (Finland) took place at the Tourism department. Our students made a presentation about the College and the Tourism department to foreign guests, the deputy director on extracurricular professional education Liudmila Kuznetcova and a teacher of tourism at the SAMIedu Professional College Mika Nenonen delivered welcoming speech.

International Student contest "Interhotelier - 2019 "
On April 15-17, 2019, the International Student Contest “Interhotelier -2019” was held in the training hotel “Yunost” - the College of Tourism St. Petersburg.
The purpose of the contest is to strengthen international cooperation and improve the quality of vocational education, as well as the development of professional competence and stimulation of students, increasing the prestige of the hotelier profession.
Students studying in hotel specialties from Finland, Italy, France, Kazakhstan and Russia participated in the contest.

Russian-Finnish conference “Development of entrepreneurial competencies - a ticket to the future”
А business visit of a delegation from St. Petersburg to the city of Kouvola, Finland, took place from February 6, 2019 to February 7, 2019 as part of the program of the Russian-Finnish conference “Development of entrepreneurial competencies - a ticket to the future”,
The participants were the heads, teachers and students of educational institutions of St. Petersburg. The delegation was led by Svetlana Vasilyevna Belik, deputy head of the department of the Committee on Education of St. Petersburg.

Visit of the Austrian delegation to the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg
In the period from 02.12 to 04.12 in St. Petersburg, in the framework of international cooperation and implementation of the project “Development of entrepreneurial competencies in educational institutions of St. Petersburg and Austria”, a meeting was held between representatives of professional educational institutions of Austria: School of Tourism of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Economics in Vienna. , International College of Hetzendorf, Secondary Technical School Spengergasse. During the visit, the Austrian delegation visited the educational organizations of St. Petersburg, the project participants: the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg, the Higher Banking School, the Radio Engineering College, the Automechanical College.

Visit of the delegation of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Industry - Department of Education of the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan)
At the invitation of the Director of the College of Tourism, Svetlana Alexandrovna Antonova, in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation previously signed from 27 to 30 November 2018, a business visit of a delegation from the College of Tourism and Hospitality of the Almaty City Administration of Education (Kazakhstan) took place in order to discuss future cooperation plans and visiting the IV Regional World Skills Russia Championship at the EXPOFORUM Exhibition and Convention Center.

College of Tourism of St-Petersburg Report on a business trip in Kazargo (Italy)
In order to study the international experience in organizing and conducting competitions of professional skills, the system of professional training for the hospitality industry and the development of intercultural relations between educational institutions of Italy and Russia, from the 15 to 18 October, a business trip was organized on the basis of an invitation from the director of the APAF-CFPA vocational school of Casargo delegation of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg to Italy. The delegation was headed by the college director Svetlana Alekxandrovna Antonova.

About cooperation with the French University of Angers
University of Angers - French University, belongs to the Academy of Nantes, founded in 1971. The history of the university begins in the Middle Ages, when King Charles V of France establishes the University of Law, Theology and Medicine by his decree. In 1875 the university was reborn as the Western Catholic University. In 1971 in Angers a modern university was founded on the basis of the University Scientific Center (1958), the Technological University Institute (1966), the Law University College and the Philological University College.
According to the agreement on cooperation between our educational institutions the program was organized in April 2018 to exchange students and teachers participating in WorldSkills championships. On April 9-13 the Russian group of 14 people was in Italy and from April 17 to 24, 2018 the Italian delegation (15 participants) arrived in St. Petersburg.
Administration of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg, headed by College Director Antonova S. A., at the invitation of Azerbaijan Ministry of education, visited the important annual event of tourism industry Azerbaijan international Exhibition "Tourism and Travel" AITF 2018, which started on April the 5th in Baku Expo Center.

The III Open Regional Championship "Young Professionals" (World Skills Russia)
Оn November 17-19, 2017, the III Open Regional Championship "Young Professionals" (World Skills Russia) was held in St. Petersburg. Its participants were the representatives of 42 competencies within the framework of the World Skills Russia movement.
The students of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg participated in the competition in terms of the following competencies:
- "Management of a hotel";
- "Restaurant service";
- "Tourism";
- "Entrepreneurship";
- "Cooking".
On November 18, 2017, the results were summed up and the winners were awarded.

The College Delegation Visits the Professional Educational Organizations of Azerbaijan
From 8 to 15 of October a business trip of the College of tourism of St. Petersburg delegation to Azerbaijan was organized on the basis of the invitation of Mingachevir College of tourism in order to study the international experience of professional hospitality training, to develop intercultural relations between educational institutions of Azerbaijan and Russia.
On 30 September 2017 delegation from educational trade-union of Finland visited College of Tourism, St.-Petersburg. The topic for discussion was experience exchange concerning arrangement of education in Russian Federation and Finland and possibility of cooperation between vocational establishments of both countries.
