On December 21, according to a long-established tradition, the annual competition "English in my profession" was held at the Restaurant Service department. This competition is held among students of the graduate groups "Technology of catering products". The students were preparing their homework: presentation of the national cuisine. Group 441 presented Spanish cuisine, 441 – Cypriot cuisine.

The competition was quite difficult – drawing up a technological card of a dish based on video. The contestants had to specify the ingredients, the soup preparation algorithm and all the kitchen utensils used in the preparation of this dish. This was followed by a description of the dishes on the menu. These were cold appetizers, main courses with side dishes and soups.

In the final task, the contestants had to name one or another kitchen equipment, and cutlery according to the pictures in English.

The hall was lively, everyone took an active part in interactive tasks. The support groups of the teams were also on top. The jury appreciated the motivation of the guys, a fairly high level of proficiency in a foreign professional language. In the end, FRIENDSHIP won. And that's right!
