On the 14th of November 2023 as part of the plan of events aimed at the patriotic education of youth, the formation of an active citizenship, as well as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, a friendly volleyball match dedicated to “Conscript Day” was held at the Restaurant Service department of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg. Conscript Day in Russia is celebrated during the days of the autumn conscription. The decree on its creation was signed by President Boris Yeltsin in 1992. The text of the document indicates the meaning of the celebration: to increase the prestige and significance of military service and raise the level of military-patriotic education of youth.

The match took place between the team of the Restaurant Service department and the team of the Federal State Institution UVO VNG of Russia in St. Petersburg and the local department of the private security department in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg. After a hard fight, the visiting team won with a score of 3-2. We thank all participants and wish them further sport achievements.
