As a part of the college international activities schedule on April 04–07, 2023, the college has held "Connoisseurs of hospitality" professional skills competition of “Tourism” and ”Hospitality” departments students of foreign professional educational organizations.

The competition was organized to demonstrate professional skills and improve the professional competence of students, develop personal and creative potential of students and increase the prestige of the future profession.

To conduct the competition, an Organizing Committee was formed, headed by director of the College of Tourism of Saint-Petersburg Antonova Svetlana Aleksandrovna.

Students, teachers and experts of our college, the Yerevan State Humanitarian College (Armenia), the College of Tourism and Hospitality Industry (Almaty, Kazakhstan) took part in the production of creative videos and the evaluation of competitive works.

According to the results of the jury's work, the winner of the "Visiting Card of the Region" video contest was a team of the Yerevan State Humanitarian College (Armenia): Ani Hovakimyan and Anna Hovhannisyan. Students of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg (Tourism Department): Semenova Maria and Abassov Nikhat were only 0.5 points left behind.

Zavyalova Lelika (student of the "Hospitality" department of our college) got nomination for "Thematic design of the room for a special guest".

Assessing the quality of the competitive works, the experts noted a high level of English, as well as professional competence and creativity of the participants.
