According to the PCC of Foreign Languages plan of events, on March 1, the final stage of the College Olympiad in English and German was held. The second stage was preceded by a serious qualifying round for departments, which took place in November, so the strongest of the strongest experts in a foreign language gathered for this Olympiad.

The participants were asked to complete tasks on the main aspects, but this time more attention was paid to listening, which included a rather complex dictation, lexical and grammatical exercises. The task of oral speech became more complicated; students were offered options for situations for dialogues that needed to be composed with an unfamiliar companion, almost improvisation!

As a result, the winner of the final round of the College Olympiad in English was Ilya Kovalev, group No. 126, teachers Avdienko E.A. and Sadovskaya L.I., Department of Tourism.

2nd place was shared by: Sergeeva Victoria, group No. 121, teacher Fadeeva N.V., department "OOP" and Gromakova Elizaveta, group No. 146, teacher Gavrilova M.A., department "Restaurant Service"

3rd place was taken by Naumchik Veronika group No. 120 - teacher Pankova I.M., department "OOP", Voronov Alexander and Filev Alexey, group No. 117 - teacher Khrapova T.Y., department "Hotel Service"

In the German Olympiad, the tasks were calculated for level A1 according to the international language classification. The guys showed themselves very well, despite the slight excitement and the presence of a small percentage of unfamiliar vocabulary, they did an excellent job with listening, the tempo of which was faster than usual. Holding Olympiads is very important, because it helps to increase students' interest in learning the language and creates competition among them, thereby increasing motivation. Therefore, our college holds Olympiads every year.
