In accordance with the cooperation agreement with the University of Angers (UFR ESTHUA, Tourisme et culture - Université Angers), in spring of 2019, French students Adele Boismoreau, Thibault Fnai and Maude Faye were training at the “Tourism”, “Hotel service” departments and on the basis of the Training Center "Hotel Kirochnaya" for three months. The training sessions were held on the courses: "Animation activities at enterprises in hospitality" and "Basics of balneology in the practice of a tour manager” together with the St. Petersburg Institute of Hospitality.

During the training period, for French students the college organized participation in various city and international events:

April 1 – performing reports at the interuniversity conference - "Student-teacher-research" in the Pedagogical University,

April 4 – at the student conference "Youth tourism: resources, trends, prospects" in the section "Modern problems of tourism and hospitality" in the Institute of Economics and Management,

April 15-17 - team participation in the International Student Contest "Interhotel - 2019", in which they became winners in the nomination "Confidence is a step to success"

April 25 - participation in the III ALL-RUSSIAN FORUM "YOUTH IN THE WORLD OF TOURISM WITHOUT BORDERS"

As part of the cultural program, the curator of the group Ignatieva Victoria Viktorovna ,in March-April, organized visits to the national show-museum Grand-Model Russia, the historical park “Russia is my history”, ornithological excursions in the park “Sosnovka” .

In May cultural program was also varied: on May 6, a walk to the Peter the Great Botanical Garden was on the eve of the Japanese Culture Festival with a visit to the arboretum park.

On May 13, during a walking tour of the Petrograd side, the guys visited the Mini City Museum in the Alexander Garden, and the most interesting topic was graffiti on firewalls and murals in Petrogradka.

On May 15, French students visited the Theater Musical Hall, and the reporting concert of the creative teams of the Palace of Young Students, on Victory Day.

Senior students of the “Tourism” department from groups No. 227, 228, 420 actively helped to organize the events.

During the internship, French students conducted a blog in Russian, French and English, posted about the activities of the internship.

Finishing the internship in our college, the French students expressed their gratitude to the director of the college, Svetlana Alexandrovna Antonova, the administration, teachers and students for their excellent organization and hospitality.
