"Russian-Finnish conference “Development of entrepreneurial competencies - a ticket to the future”"

А business visit of a delegation from St. Petersburg to the city of Kouvola, Finland, took place from February 6, 2019 to February 7, 2019 as part of the program of the Russian-Finnish conference “Development of entrepreneurial competencies - a ticket to the future”,

The participants were the heads, teachers and students of educational institutions of St. Petersburg. The delegation was led by Svetlana Vasilyevna Belik, deputy head of the department of the Committee on Education of St. Petersburg.

The members of the delegation from the College of Tourism were: Elena Yuryevna Shevchenko, Olga Valentinovna Shabanova, Anna Sergeyevna Bulakova, Maria Anatolyevna Pavlyuchok, Aleksandra Doinikova, a student.

In the Russian-Finnish conference were discussed current problems and trends in the development of vocational education, the creation of conditions for training new-type personnel, and the use of various technologies in the educational process for mastering entrepreneurial competencies.

The Finnish delegation presented the experience of organizing the educational process, studying and developing entrepreneurial skills at the Kouvola Regional Vocational College, the conditions of study and the virtual educational environment in Finland.

The College of Tourism of St. Petersburg (M.A. Pavlyuchok , a teacher and A. Doinikova, a student) presented a marketing research of effective service activities using the example of training workshop “The Hotel” in order to develop the competence of “Entrepreneurship”.

The conference considers issues of further cooperation between professional educational institutions of St. Petersburg and Finland in the development of entrepreneurial competencies among students and other areas of cooperation.
