In order to develop international cooperation between professional educational organizations of Russia and Uzbekistan, College of Tourism participated in the reception of the delegation of directors of professional organizations of Tashkent, who visited St. Petersburg from November 27 to December 01, 2018.

In accordance with the business program of the visit, College organized visits to the events of the 4th Regional Open Championship “Young Professionals (World Skills Russia)” at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Center, participation in sections of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation, a tour of the competitive areas for competencies: “Hotel administration”, “Restaurant service”, “Tourism”, “Entrepreneurship”, meeting with the head of the vocational education department of the Education Committee Vladislav Vicktorovich Frolov.

A bus tour around S – Petersburg and to the State Museum “Petergof” was arranged for our guests.

On the 29th of November 2018 our Uzbekistan colleagues visited the “Restaurant Service” department where the “Cooking” competence competitions took place. Our guests met with the director Svetlana Alexandrovna Antonova, the college administration, visited laboratories, training workshops, methodological and educational departments.

During the round table, participants shared their experiences in organizing the educational process, work experience, interaction with social partners, participation in professional skill contests, etc.

The meeting resulted in the signing of Memorandums of Cooperation with the Tashkent Professional College of Hotel Management and the Tashkent Professional College of Tourism and Business. The parties agreed on the exchange of teaching materials and drawing up a plan of joint activities for 2019.
