In the context of cooperation between the Committee for Education of St. Petersburg and KulturKontakt Austria, we have created a ground-breaking space for setting the stage for the Entrepreneurship Initiative as part of educational process in vocational schools, further providing a number of opportunities of applying this initiative by the graduates in their employment careers.

By virtue of KulturKontakt Austria Center and within the frame of the Entrepreneurship in Vocational Schools Project, the delegation from Saint Petersburg visited Austria from November 11, through November 13. The visit was aimed at sharing experiences and networking. The work group was led by Vladislav Frolov, the head of the vocational department of the Committee for Education of St. Petersburg. The group included representatives from a number of educational establishments, as such: College of Tourism of Saint Petersburg, Higher Banking School, Radio Engineering College, Automotive College.

During the business visit, the delegates researched the educational process behind the Entrepreneurship Initiative in Austria; those in MODULE School for Tourism of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna, International Business College Hetzendorf, HTL Spengergasse.

Several educational aspects were covered, including introducing the initiative in Austria's vocational schools, sharing opinions on the ways to introduce and apply this initiative, and setting tools for its successful acquirement by the students.

During the business visit, the main goals for implementing the Entrepreneurship Initiative in Vocational Schools were set and a general plan of its successful introduction was put forward.

As part of the return visit, a group of representatives from Austria will visit St. Petersburg vocational schools from December 2, through December 5.
