According to the agreement on cooperation between our educational institutions the program was organized in April 2018 to exchange students and teachers participating in WorldSkills championships. On April 9-13 the Russian group of 14 people was in Italy and from April 17 to 24, 2018 the Italian delegation (15 participants) arrived in St. Petersburg.

The exchange program included teambuilding classes, master classes for professions preparing for future competitions, visiting hotels, restaurants, museums, development of tourist routes using different types of transport (buses, trains, urban transport, metro) and self-developed excursions on sights and objects of a cultural heritage of Russia and Italy. It also increased the level of colloquial and professional English.

The ACS Opera classes were organized for Italian students at the department of the Hotel Service, a familiarization tour of the educational laboratories of the Tourism and Restaurant service departments.

On April 22, a mini-championship on the competence of Hotel Administration was held at the Yunost’ educational hotel between the Italian and Russian teams. The jury of the championship included national Russian experts from among the teachers of the College of Tourism and the European WorldSkills expert from the Italian side.

Summing up the results of the exchange at the round table on April 23, the principal of the College of Tourism Svetlana A. Antonova and the principal of ISTITUTO ISNRUZIONE SUPERIORE "GIOLITTI-BELLISARIO" Donatella Garello underlined the great mutual interest in the development of friendly and professional relations between our organizations, the active interaction of students and teachers during the training sessions and competitions, the success of students in the language training and raising their cultural and educational level. The participants of the project were awarded certificates.

The parties agreed to coordinate the plan for international cooperation in June 2018 for the next academic year.
