Administration of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg, headed by College Director Antonova S. A., at the invitation of Azerbaijan Ministry of education, visited the important annual event of tourism industry Azerbaijan international Exhibition "Tourism and Travel" AITF 2018, which started on April the 5th in Baku Expo Center.

The exhibition assembles representatives of educational institutions, representatives of tourism business, national and regional tourism organizations, government agencies.

Mr. Abulfas Garayev, Minister of culture and tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary General of the world Tourism Organization, Irina Georgieva, Deputy Minister of tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Edward Strawn, regional Director of ITE Group reported at the opening ceremony. The development of new technologies, the creation of new projects and the use of modern business models contributes to the future development of tourism. "The WHOLE WORLD, ONE EXHIBITION", taking place under the slogan AITF, receives 277 of the companies and organizations from 20 countries.

Every year, the exhibition is replenished with new participants, both from Azerbaijan and from abroad. In total, the exhibition hosts 13 national and regional exhibitions from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Dominican Republic, Italy, Morocco, Thailand, Turkey, Czech Republic, Dagestan (Russia), Rogaska Slatina (Slovenia), Stavropol region (Russia), and the debut of this year is East Java (Indonesia) this year.

Members of the delegation of the College of Tourism, participated in business meetings in the framework of the exhibition, visited the exhibition stand Mingachevir College of tourism, which established partnerships, signed a contract on network interaction.

At the stand of social partners there was a meeting of S. A. Antonova with Abulfaz Garayev, Minister of culture and tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Svetlana Alexandrovna told about the development of tourism industry in Russia, about the need for international cooperation and gave the example of network experience with Mingecevir College of tourism, headed by Automovil Eyup Abdin Oglu.

The Director of Mingachevir College of tourism Eyubov Eyub Avdyn Ogly and the Director of the College of Tourism Antonova S. A. held a press conference for the media, where they spoke about new prospects for the development of education and the need to strengthen international relations of educational institutions.
